JAYANTA - PRANAAME IN DUBAI SRING FESTIVAL

Dubai - The most exciting & happening place, emerged like a golden dream amidst the sand dunes. Last year, BHANGIMAA was invited for a Duet Dance performance in Dubai for celebrating the Spring Festival of Assam i.e. Bihu, organised by the Assamese people Society (Asom Somaj - Dubai).

We really enjoyed our stay out there & the warm hospitality by our fellow Assamese over there. During the celebration, everywhere we can find the gorgeous Muga Mekhela Chador, worn by our beautiful ladies. The Japis & Gamucha adorned the ambience. The rhythmic beats of the Dhol & melodious tune of the Pepa, are still treasured deep in our soul.

Our performance was scheduled with the famous Assamese star - Zubeen Garg. Zubeen needs no introduction for his talents. He proved to be a leading star of the North East; penetrating into millions of hearts for his songs, music & lovely behaviour. Together, the show proved to be a happening one.

Our performance first started with an invocation named Mangalam, followed by Megha Chaya, Shravan Bahar, Bihu Bareboroniya, etc.

We are really very happy to meet all our friends & fellow people out there like Dilip Bora, Arman Hazorika, Dr. Utpal Kakoti, Ashwini Borkotoki, Faruk, Sumon Bordoloi, etc. who are doing a great job in promoting our culture & tradition globally.

Thoughts.........

I often realize that creativity emerges from pain. I do know that, pain is led by emotions which is nurtured and guided by feelings. Feelings are thereby treasured deep beneath our soul. We feel and sense different situations, different moods and so on.

In today’s world, we are pacing fast ahead to strive and achieve our goals, disregarding human feelings in lust, disrespect and selfish mode.

So, let us together strive towards the ultimate point of pleasure and happiness through art, satisfying oneself and the other - PRANAAME

Art de Cafe

"Art has an expression of its own. I believe every art to be a reflection of the artist's inner self " - Pranaame

NRITYA

Pranaame is into the field of art from her childhood. Her arts portray an intense feeling of oneself. Without any formal training, she dared to lead her imagination through drawings. "Like every child I also started my drawings with Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, fruits and flowers. But I do not know when and how this hobby became a passion. I want my spectators to understand the expression of the body language. That is why the subject in my arts do not have eyes."

APEKSHA

"During my school days I would desperately wait for the vacations to come, so that I can draw and draw and make more and more drawing files." She likes to express her art through body gestures. Her maxim is to lead her viewers through her imagination.

Hi,
This is fascinating to know the great works of art maintained with such focused indulgence despite all the known negligence from our common bodies. Hope, we reform someday for sake of the hardworking people like you around us.
Two Thumbs up!
